1 1 1 1 Chorus The Churches of Venice, the soul of the City.

The churches of Venice guard of one of the world’s most extraordinary art treasures.

Thousands of years of history are revealed on their walls. Paintings, sculpture, gold and precious fabrics are all to be found in these fascinating monumental buidlings.

The Chorus, which contributes to the conservation and appreciation of this immense heritage, proposes an itinerary of historical art, comprising sixteen of the best examples of the religious architecture of Venice.

The Gothic of the Basilica dei Frari, the Renaissance of the Churches of Santa Maria dei Miracoli and Santa Maria Formosa, and the work of Andrea Palladio, visible in the Church of the Most Redeemer nestled in the quiet of the island of Giudecca.

Discover eighteenth-century innovation in the work of Tiepolo in the Church dei Gesuati and in the Church of San Polo, and find the paintings of Veronese in the Church of San Sebastiano.

Throughout the itinerary you will find even more absolute masterpieces, from the studios of Tiziano, Tintoretto, Palma di Giovane, and many others.
