1111Nocturnal fascination at Ca' Pesaro
The International Modern Art Gallery Ca' Pesaro will be exceptionally open until 10 p.m. (last entry at 9 p.m.) with the possibility of a free guided tour at 7 p.m. on 28, 29 and 30 december. A unique opportunity to add glamour to the fascination of this museum and re-discover, amongst others, two major works by Cesare Laurenti, "New Blooming" (1897) and "Water lily" (1899), not seen by the public for a while, and to rediscover "Portrait of Ms Rothmaler" by the Belgian Fernand Khnopff, a high-profile personality of European modernism, one of the very first works bought by Venetian museums for the Art Biennale of 1901, as a dialoguing piece with "Birth of Venus" (1903) by Ettore Tito. On the second floor the ongoing exhibition "Culture Chanel. A reading woman", dedicated to Gabrielle Chanel and her love for books and literature. Ticket holders will have a reduced-fee access to the Candiani Center in Mestre to enjoy the Klimt exhibition (http://www.visitmuve.it/it/corto-circuito-dialogo-tra-i-secoli/attorno-a-klimt-giuditta-eroismo-e-seduzione/la-mostra/).
