The Scuola Grande of San Rocco organises a series of five follow-up meetings around artisticals and culturals themes: unifying subject is the Scuola Grande di San Rocco itself explained in its artistical, cultural, ideological, architectural and historical profiles.
Introduced the 4 of June by the presentation of the volume "Il patrimonio culturale immateriale - Venezia e il veneto come patrimonio europeo" conceived and developed by Maria Laura Picchio Forlati), meetings will follow the la serie di incontri prosegue il 18 of June with the lecture of Doretta Davanzo Poli (Crochet Museum of Burano) consacreted to "La tradizione dei tessuti a Venezia e nella Scuola Grande di San Rocco".
After the summer break, the appointment in San Rocco proceedes Wednesdays the 24 September with a lecture of Piana (University of Architecture of Venice) consacrated to "La cantoria settecentesca di San Rocco: conoscenze e saperi per il suo restauro".
The series of meetings will take place in the Albergo hall from 5.30 p.m.; the language will be the italian one. Free entrance ( while the seats last)
